Code of Conduct
FIBRETRON CODE OF CONDUCT
This Code of Conduct was inspired by the code from Craft Camp. I’d like to thank the Craft Camp team for their time and hard work put into developing a robust and inclusive code of conduct.
Fibretron is committed to providing a welcoming, safe, respectful and inclusive event (this includes our social media spaces) and will not tolerate any behaviour that contradicts this commitment from vendors, attendees or our event volunteer team.
Fibretron is committed to the inclusion and recognition of all people, regardless of race, age, culture, ability, weight, ethnicity or nationality, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religious affiliation and socio-economic status.
We will not tolerate any unacceptable behaviour, inappropriate physical contact or any form of physical, verbal or non-verbal harassment or abuse towards anyone. We reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary, including cautioning or expelling anyone not adhering to the Conduct of Conduct.
Harassment includes but is not limited to:
-
Threats or intimidation
-
Hurtful language
-
Physical assault of any type
-
Inappropriate physical contact
-
Unwelcome sexual attention
-
Unwelcome photography or video recording
-
Bullying or stalking
If you are asked to stop any harassing behaviour please comply immediately.
If you feel you are being harassed or notice someone else is being harassed or you have any concerns please contact a member of the Fibretron events team immediately. Team members can be easily identified as they’ll usually be wearing a hi-viz vest. Every complaint will be treated seriously and managed as respectfully as possible.
You can make an anonymous complaint using this Google form. We will fully investigate it and take appropriate action to ensure it does not happen again.
The Fibretron team will be happy to assist you to feel safe for the duration of the event.
